Voltage is the single determining factor if an electrical accident or an arc flash is possible--No voltage means: No accident, No arc flash. After disconnecting power to an enclosure, electricians can “see” the internal voltage state while the enclosure is safely closed. VoltageVisionä provides “ON/OFF” voltage indication, thereby “pre-verifying” that an “electrically safe work condition” exists before opening the electrical enclosure. VoltageVisionä is like a “hard wired voltmeter” without a power supply because it is powered from the same “voltage” that it indicates. This device also reduces the risk of arc flash because the electrician will know the power state inside the enclosure, before verifying isolation with a meter. VoltageVisionä’s superior redundant design exceeds the surge requirements for a Category III certified voltmeter. The VoltageVisionä R-3W is an additional safety measure between maintenance personnel and hazardous voltage.
The VoltageVisionä R-3W is “one-size-fits-all” because it detects both AC & DC voltage and operates from 40-750VAC/30-1000VDC. The encapsulated construction, redundant circuit design, and long life LED's provide superior reliability. The R-3W is C-UL-US Nema 4X listed, and fits into a standard 30mm pushbutton hole.
