Testing and resetting GFCI outlets inside your panel is impractical under NFPA 70e.  That’s why GFCI’s belong on the outside of your panel in a GracePort®!
What is a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI)?

A GFCI checks that the outgoing current flow(L1) is equal the the incoming current(N). A dfference between current IN and current OUT, means that the ‘extra’ current is flowing to ground.  This is an electricial hazard or a ground fault.  A UL Listed Type A GFCI will trip between 4.5-6.0mA current difference.

hex87.jpg An "electrically safe work condition" is critical for electricians performing maintenance on de-energized systems.  The VoltageVision™ R-3W is hardwired into the main disconnect or circuit breaker, and flashes whenever hazardous voltage is present in any individual phase.

Voltage is the single determining factor if an electrical accident or an arc flash is possible--No voltage means: No accident, No arc flash.  After disconnecting power to an enclosure, electricians can "pre-verify" voltage while the enclosure is safely closed.  The risk of arc flash will be reduced because electricians know if there is power inside the enclosure, before re-verifying isolation with a meter.

Unmatched Reliability due to dual redundant circuitry and no separate power supply.  The R-3W is powered from the same “voltage” that it indicates.
